About Us
West Point Christian Preschool opened in August 2011, with just 18 students. We have served hundreds of students ages six weeks-5yrs, with full and part-time staff members in the classrooms. Our beautiful and modern facility provides each child with the ability to learn and grow. Our full-time program and a good curriculum that provides plenty of hands-on learning prepare the children in our preschool for elementary school and for life-long learning.
Well-balanced meals (breakfast, lunch and snacks) are prepared in a commercial kitchen. Our menu offers a variety of healthy food choices while pleasing the palate of our preschoolers.
Our Staff
We require on-going training for our staff through State classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All of our staff are trained in First Aid and CPR. Our staff training would include areas such as Early Childhood Development, Classroom Management, Curriculum and Assessment, Nutrition and Safety, Cultural Diversity, Professionalism and much more.
West Point Christian Preschool selects people on the basis of skill, training, ability, attitude and character. We employ staff who have gained valuable experience through working in a licensed childcare facility, who have degrees in early childhood education or students majoring in education through our partnership with the local universities. We also believe in exposing and employing high school students who are participating in their school's early childhood education career tech program. These youth work closely with lead staff and is not left alone with students.

We continually work to earn the trust placed in us and strive each day to be the best providers of early childhood education in the community we serve. We want to impact our community by impacting the lives of children.
